Anderson & Associates, Inc. provided pre-design study services, including program confirmation, utility infrastructure confirmation, code analysis, conceptual site and utility design options, and conceptual cost estimating for the new addition to the award-winning West End Market Food Court. We also provided final design and construction phase services. The site layout provided truck delivery access, trash collection, and accessible parking, as well as pedestrian and bicycle access to and around the site. The web of existing utilities (including water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, steam, electrical, and communications lines) were modified to make room for the building additions and provide additional utility connections. Water quality treatment was provided in a series of bioretention filters, with stormwater routed through the existing infrastructure to a regional pond for detention.
